Trying #mindmapping. Any1 else do that?

I have three #Writing phases in every project.

Stage one: A #prompter who looks for elements and images they want in project
Stage Two: A super plotter. Heavy on #structure and #plotting.
Stage Three: This is where I draft like a #panster. I get from point A to Point B as creatively as possible.

I'd love to be a plotter but as I write these these planned scenes my characters have better ideas.

Just started #writing a new #book. Am a #panster so all I can see is the next sentence. Usually I just need to know the central conflict, protagonist’s name, setting and genre when I start. This time I don’t know the conflict - so we’ll see how I make it work. It’s a cozy #mystery. So there’s time 🧵

1) Every once in a while a question comes up about are you a #panster or #plotter. I consider myself both, I've pantsed for ever, and just started plotting... kinda. For the #WritingCommunity that don't know; here's the basics and why the difference ain't that different.

I'm so excited! I got a pad of lined paper yesterday that's printed in landscape format. I'm going to use the paper to plot out family trees for characters for my next book. Once I get the families in order, the #Panster in me will take over the story and let it roll. #amwriting #writingcommunity
