A tree, long "dead", dried out, fallen down a hill leaving its roots in the air, grows a new crop of greenery; moss coats the top, bright green in the sunlight. The part of the root we see looks sort of like a face, looking upward to the left, eye half closed, mouth open, calling to its mates. (Or singing a summer song?) A metal utility bollard looks like a worried face due to two unlocking rings level with each other, and below them a nose drawn in white, and in a rectangular recess with teeth drawn in white.
A metal wallside ashtray looks like a horrified face with its mouth wide, due to the way it has fallen open.
