A large sterling and brass handmade vintage 1950s 60s modernist bracelet designed by Chato Castillo for Los Castillo in Taxco, Mexico. The bracelet centers a large tear-drop shaped obsidian stone at top. The stone is prong-set with the characteristic curling prongs used by Los Castillo during this period. Signed inside band as shown in the photo, "Los Castillo Taxco" with the Eagle 15, and "Hecho en Mexico".
The only example of this design that I have seen, though I have seen many similar.

a ONE OF A KIND vintage 1990s handmade sterling silver and resin post modernist geometric concentric circles design cocktail ring. Entirely handmade by me using sterling silver, fine silver, and with orange and yellow resin inlay. A bright happy design that was in part inspired by the 1960s mods of Carnaby Street in London! I made this ring sometime in the late 1990s, I'm sorry I don't remember exactly when. It's the only one of this design that I made, but I am listing a couple others with the same materials but different designs. I've been retired from jewelry-making for over 20 years now, and I'm selling a few odd items that I never marked or offered for sale in the past. Measures 1" diameter at top, rises about 3/8" above the finger, and has an open adjustable band that is presently a size 7 US, but can be easily adjusted up or down a few sizes. Weighs 13.1 grams total. I never marked this ring, and it was never offered for sale before. (Sorry, I sold my tools, bench etc years ago, and I didn't keep my maker mark stamp.) I advise keeping a copy of this listing if you care about such things. Never worn, so just a bit of tarnish from storage, but otherwise completely original as it left my workbench almost 30 years ago. Excellent vintage condition as noted above and with no damage or detractors whatsoever as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.

I used fine silver for the bezels which is softer than sterling silver. Still quite an impact on the finger, and the only one I made of this design! Excellent vintage condition as noted above and as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.

Here's three sterling silver and orange/yellow resin rings that I made back in the 1990s - I'm retired from jewelry-making now, but I still have a few odds and ends that I am letting go...
