I often wonder
what did it look like
before everything
When it was just God
a vast amount of
the blue abyss

explored what marine

Held Pens There are pens I've loved, And some pens I've never noticed, Rolling aimlessly around in a drawer, That opens once a year, And never shuts correctly. Pens I've filled with ink, And some pens I've filled with Spirit, Rage written words, Love filled lines, And doodles, squiggles, and a random Mark or two. There are pens I've coveted, And pens I've lent to others, Never to be held again. Pens I've not been so sure about, And pens I've known from the moment I placed them between my finger and thumb. Pens I've used out of convenience, Run dry and discarded, And pens I've used once, Placed in a coffee mug, On my desk, That has only held pens.

MAN ENOUGH? I find myself pensive after weeks of charring my soul to keep my mind warm; Am I man enough to impress myself or lift this car crash that's been weighing on me since Death learned to whisper instead of shout? There is a crowd of peers and ghosts that I know will cheer me on even when my eyes are closed and I visualize a barnyard where the animals graze under a sun that resembles my smile when I'm building the world with apple hands.
I'm pretty burnt out today. I don't have anyone to blame for it but myself. I will definitely be okay though!
