I don't mind a little politics as long as it doesn't drown out the rest - I only pay attention to what's interesting & browse for good news pieces. But if I were you I'd just follow the nerdier hashtags rather than feeds - no one's gonna say #philofsci or #behaviorchange & then rave about politics.
