Had some leftover grape tomatoes so decided to make some focaccia with 'em. Some thyme from the garden (yay spring!), Calabrian chili paste, parm and prosciutto. Would definitely do again.

Looking forward to our own cherry tomatoes in a couple of months!

I’m sure this will bring out the haters, but whatever. I made a cheeseburger pizza last night to use up some stuff. Ground beef, mozz & cheddar, pickle relish, drizzled with burger sauce. It was good, though I probably would have preferred less meat (I’m a pizza minimalist). 🍽️🍜 #pizzanerd

It’s pizza time again! I must confess I’ve kinda given up doing my own crust. Started getting this thin crust dough from a local bakery and it’s just really good. And easy. 😀 tonight’s pizza is kale with sizzling scallions & crème fraiche. Big fan of kale on pizza. 🍽️🍜 #pizzanerd

Today, as a gesture of thanks to those helping with our renovations, I made pizza, for the first time in months, using my Ooni Koda 16. It worked out out fine, but I'm still looking for more crunch. What do you do, friends, to get crunch? (I used Tony Gemignani's master dough with biga.) #pizzanerd

Drove my wife to Connecticut today, so I went to New Haven, to try Modern Apizza for the first time. The crust of my pizza was, at the edge, light and flimsy. Elsewhere, it was drowned in puddles of melted mozzarella and exhibited a terminal case of flopitis. Not my type of pizza. #pizzanerd

Hi Devon, reporting back after my 1st attempt with your sauce recommendation... Pretty darn happy with how it came out. I think I'll probably add a tad more oregano next time and maybe some sugar. But this is def. the closest I've got to decent NY-style pie. Thanks again!

What best accompanies pizza when you have guests? Usually I've done a salad of Boston lettuce, Belgian endive, and radicchio, but that seems insubstantial. Any suggestions? #pizzanerd

Tonight's pizza Margherita. My favorite pizza recipe is Ken Forkish's. The only reason that I don't use it all the time is you have to get started making the pizza at 9 AM. The recipe calls for 0.1 grams of yeast so it's a really long rise but well worth it.
