Nighttime visitor. A male #polyphemus moth #Antheraea polyphemus, visited my yard last night. The caterpillars feed on #trees including #elm, #birch & #willow. I’ve reared them on #oak, #Quercus. Males have feathery #plumose #antennae used to locate females broadcasting #pheromones at night.
