Fun fact:

Some of #ProjectEoN 's lore and errors are derived from these things that I've made in 2017-18.
They're single-screen edits that mostly have a few dialogue boxes on them (since #PMDO did not exist, and I was too stupid to understand Skytemple).

Some of them are canon to EoN. This one is.

FINALLY, I got the boring junk out of the way for my #PMDO mod. Missions work as expected.

Currently, there's no way to check how many points are required to get to the next Rank (I'll need to fix this eventually, someone telling you how many points left is a little strange).

This remains my favorite menu in all of #ProjectEoN.
Hands down. Full stop. Anytime I write anything with Madilyn, I get happy because her demeanor is just fun to write dialogue for.

I do wish I can create more interesting menus in #PMDO, but UI coding is just miserable no matter what it is.

Just not sure how to go about it. Since #PMDO updated, I need to reserialize the items, hopefully no issues there.

Then either I gotta cut the midway to be a new dungeon (probably breaking jobs) or something, then make jobs work, then a dungeon... 😓

This is an illustration of Adam's Notebook in #ProjectEoN, a mod for #PMDO. I used this illustration for it's sprite.

It's purpose is to relate world-lore for the Player, particularly for Adam, Piks, and Madilyn since the Player may not know these characters.

For absolutely no reason at all besides the fact I can, failing any of the Roguelocke Dungeons in #ProjectEoN will give you a random quote from the PMD series, including one from EoN itself.

There's only 3, and the focus is on Motivating you to keep pushing the EX Dungeons.

I keep finding songs being mis-labeled in #PMDO, more specifically in some of the mods available.

Several songs are actually from Time/Darkness, but for some reason, they're grouped into Sky's album.

Once these are done, I will make actual references.

I made some memes from the video I was editing (after suffering from #PMDO 's nonsense rules and Halcyon's super long tutorials).

I was *not* in good moods when recording these.

After a quick Google search, apparently Cider is only alcoholic if you leave it for 2+ weeks.

A. Refunded #Duckside. Got no friends, and I'm socially repugnant in those games (I just die half the time, having no Equipment to fend other players off).

B. I found out #PMDO *does* have Flat Damage, but it's awkward and hidden behind interactions I don't really understand.

On the negative side, I don't have many ideas for how to perform 'Room Clearing' actions like Discharge, or Fairy Wind. That'll come to bite me in the ass later once I get to them.

This shit is impossible currently.

Without the ability to edit PMDC (the file that contains a lot of things necessary to make the game run in the first place), I cannot brute-force a Flat Damage Calculation.

Lua also becomes completely useless, as none of the scripts want to fire in-game.

I have to dig through RogueEssence just to find out how tf things deal Damage, then make my own thing that makes it Flat.

Chestnut Traps, Present, Sonic Boom, and Dragon Rage deal Flat Damages (10, 40-80-120, 20, 40 respectfully). PMDO changes these to some other gimmick.

Made some 'Darkness' tiles for when I eventually get to re-working the visions in 'dark' areas.

This was re-made for the Auto-Tile system, as using a Background only makes sense in hallways (I will be re-using this piece of graphic for that BG).

Funfact: The project's name is 'PMDO-Revert'.

Some might ask about room-sized effects, and that might propose a challenge since PMDO doesn't know what a 'room' is.

The game has to get that *after* generation, and I'm not sure how to do that just yet. Maybe keep where rooms are placed after generation? Place invis tiles in room? No idea.

The first step are *some* tiles, then traps. After that, probably items, Status Effects, then Moves (Which prioritizes EoT/D/S, then Super. If the move didn't exist back then, make it fit in).

Now that the entire intro is a thing in Project EoN, I can actually make the fun parts, like the Job Board, and the Roguelocke dungeons.

Content is important, but I hate story writing. I would rather write hundreds of alternate dialogues for every choice than write about a story.
