Two vases, the left slightly taller than the right, sit on a wooden table in front of a black marbled wall. Each vase has an elegant low wide curve that narrows into a skinnier neck before widening back into a trumpet-like opening. They each tilt slightly away from each other. Each is black with heavy texture and drips of bright red running down their sides. I call them “Sway” vases.

Everyone is glazed and in the kiln! If all goes to plan, I’ll have 5 days to clean, sand, photograph and pack for Baltimore… the epitome of luxury! These vases have nothing to do with this but it feels like they’re celebrating with me.
