I don’t have cable, and although my news feeds mentions lots of EU and other global protests, nothing about the protests planned for yesterday. Did MSM even cover any of them? Or are they keeping their powder dry for maybe a MAGA rally? Boats?

Unrechtmäßiger Einsatz: Richter Charles Breyer hielt fest, dass Trump seine Befugnisse überschritten habe und ordnete an, die Kontrolle sofort an Gouverneur Gavin Newsom zurückzugeben. Berechtigte Kritik: Gouverneur Newsom nannte die Maßnahme eine „unnötige Militarisierung“ und betonte, das Militär gehöre „auf das Schlachtfeld, nicht auf unsere städtischen Straßen“. Kurz nach dem Urteil legte die Trump-Regierung sofort Berufung ein. Ein Berufungsgericht hob den Rückgabebefehl vorerst auf, Trump behält vorerst das Kommando. Trumps Regierung entsandte rund 4000 Nationalgardisten und 700 Marinesoldaten zur Unterstützung von ICE-Maßnahmen in Los Angeles. Auslöser waren landesweit aufgeheizte Proteste gegen Trumps Migrationspolitik, besonders in Los Angeles.
