Frustrated about climate emissions from conferences? Airline travel one part of it, but the facilities for the conference are another. These can be electrified! Something for PSA to think about for future conferences? #PSA2024 yaleclimateconnections.org/2024/11/the-...

What better way to unwind after #PSA2024 than immediately giving a work in progress talk? Thanks to those who offered comments on my current project using the NK Landscape as a model for exploring AI usage in scientific inquiry!

Back in Munich after an incredible #PSA2024, for which I am grateful to all organisers and fellow participants.. the mountain of last-of-2024 deadlines is scary, but beautiful to have so much happening in run-up to Christmas, as I continue to settle in the new city & meet new brilliant colleagues
#PSA2024 was great. managed to keep the number of books ordered while waiting for flight home to under ten. yes I ordered 9
This was such a fun session - a great opportunity to explore engram circuits in particular and neural circuits in general.
#psa2024
Great session on "Circuits in Neuroscience: Exploring the Brain’s Mesoscale" at #psa24 --talks by Caitlin Mace, Sarah Robins @sarahrobins.bsky.social Tomás Ryan @tjryan.bsky.social and Ross/Woodward. Engram research took center stage, as did questions about circuits as causal systems! 🐁🧠 #psa2024
Great session #psa2024 on "Causality & Explanation in Network Models" talks from Trey Boone @felipedebrigard.bsky.social Chris Pincock & Kostic @lucinauddin.bsky.social & Woodward/Ross. Talks examined the explanatory nature of networks, causal & non-causal explanation, & brain nomenclature! 🧠 #psa24

Finally made it home after having a fantastic time at #PSA2024! Congratulations to all of the PSA team for a job well done! Loullig has a lot to say about me being away for so long but he decided to give me the silent-treatment after excited greetings instead of voicing his self-evident complaints.
First leg of this US trip complete! Learnt so much from my colleagues and had so much fun in New Orleans at the Everett and Locality workshop and #PSA2024. Next stops: LA for a writing retreat, and Davis for a talk!
#psa2024 Still thinking about my Symposium yesterday on the Geometric Trinity of gravitation. It was a great session, with plenty of progress made and nice new arguments. One thing I keep thinking about: everyone apparently agrees that TEGR and STEGR posit more structure than GR. 1/7
Indeed — huge thanks to Max and to our PSA Treasurer Kevin Zollman, the whole Governing Board, PSA Program and Poster Chairs and their respective committees and all PSA volunteers for running such a wonderfully successful meeting! #PSA2024 in NOLA was amazing! see you in San Diego for PSA2026! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks to @celsoneto.bsky.social and @yashaddad.bsky.social for inviting me to be part of the symposium "Race, Ethnicity, and Ancestry: The Uses and Misuses of Population Descriptors in Genomics" at #PSA2024 in New Orleans. And thanks to organizers for a great meeting!
We were excited to present our posters at #PSA2024!
@cherfeld.bsky.social presented a poster titled “Challenges to Model Transfer in Science,” prepared in collaboration with Dunja Šešelja.
