An editorial cartoon I created which both myself and Civil Beat have decided to shelve in favor of something else for next Sunday given that the RFK vote happened today on 2/4/25. Releasing this into the wild on its own, unlike the critters RFK uh, *finds*. The cartoon shows RFK bursting into a BSL lab, shirtless, a dead bald eagle carcass over his shoulder. He tells the lab techs “Listen up nerds! You’re not doing vaccines any more, got it? From now on you’re figuring out how to grind up this critter I…uh…found to turn into supplements.” Hawai`i Governor Josh Green, an actual real doctor, lobbied hard on Capitol Hill to block the nomination, but came up short.
