Originally called the Stobcross Dock, it was built in the 1870s. It closed in 1969 and was subsequently filled in using the remains of demolished Glasgow buildings, including the much-missed Saint Enoch Station and Hotel.

The Armadillo and the Hydro Arena reflected in the still waters of the Clyde in Glasgow. Part of the Scottish Events Campus, they are built in the former Queen's Dock on the north bank of the Clyde.
