Official start to the Star Upon Stars quilt by Laundry Basket Quilts 🙌. This is the fabric pull for the first block. Each block is its own little mini quilt. I’ve pulled fabric combinations for the first 5. Trying to repeat some of the fabrics throughout for cohesiveness. #quiltersofbluesky

Practicing eight point stars so I can attempt the Star Upon Stars quilt. I’ve been working on these for nearly 2.5yrs. They always end up bubbled up in the middle. Finally got a nice flat block. Accurate cutting, heavily starched fabric, and sewing really slow seem to be helpin. #quiltersofbluesky

I tend to make up a few 4-patches and HSTs after projects. Here's me trying to clear out my stash a bit. 2" 4-patches. 25"square.
The quilting is a simple 4.5"/5.5" grid. I had to rip one entire side because the cats distracted me while marking so the stitch lines were inconsistent. Good thing they're so personable.
The goal here was to actually use my stash, instead of ignoring it per usual.
25" square-ish table topper. I tried doing a truly random layout, but that's just not in my nature. more info in alts.

Close up of the gradient from sand to deep green. It's so oceanic.
Oh my. I saw this fabric at my LQS & said Yep. Our king bed needs a whole cloth summer quilt desperately. Spouse said What?
I still have the decorative stitching to go but that's really just to hold the layers in place. 108" x 108".
