On the subject of #hares - I’m currently reading this beautiful memoir by Chloe Dalton.
It’s as good as everyone says, magical, moving and uplifting but also describes the many dangers they face, including from shooting and farm machinery, as well as their natural predators.

Just finished reading this wonderful book. I cried through the last chapter, yes, it's that good! Full of warmth, humanity, reflections on the life of the hare she cares for & parallels the human & animal experience. Highly recommended #ChloeDalton #RaisingHare
