A wet looking thick grey slop is spread relatively evenly over a grey hardibacker board. It’s gross and smells bad because the potter doesn’t add anything other than throwing water.

This bowl did not want to be friends

I'm sure it cracked because it was too thick. You can see that with the first crack. Either way it is somewhat satisfying breaking these to recycle back into clay
