Promo image for the game Mafia: Definitive Edition, which I thought was fine. It is a drawing/painting in the style of old pulp fiction novels, I think, and has a washed out quality to it. The foreground image is of a white male-presenting figure in a dark pinstripe suit with vest, hat, and trenchcoat holding a early 20th century machine gun and tipping his hat towards the viewer. Behind him is an old car with the spoked wheels and lights on a rack in front of the tall radiator grill. The car fades out behind the mafia dude and below a very orange and red cityscape with tall buildings. Front and center is the game title with Mafia in very bold and plain all caps sans serif font, a red line below it, and Definitive Edition in the same font but smaller and way less bold.

The cover for the 7" Expansive Heart by Big Rig, which I thought was fine. It is a black and white cover, all seemingly hand drawn. Around the edge is an intricate design of intertwined thick white lines making square, pointed, and sometimes circular turns. In the middle is a white heart with a drawing of a semi truck and a sun with extensive flames around it. Above the heart is the band name in a white rectangle in a chunky cartoonish and askew font. A white banner is placed over the bottom of the heart with the record title in a serif bold and slightly chaotic font.

The box for the game Riddle of the Sphinx, which I thought was pretty good. It is a silver box - which comes through kind of grey in the scan - and has a number of colorful horizontal stripes. At the top is the Imagic logo (quite like the nintendo logo with a different font), below that is a thick red stripe with the game title in a vaguely Egyptian bold and round sans serif font, below that is a shorter orange stripe with "Video Game Cartridge For the ATARI Video Game System and Sears Video Arcade" in an italic sans serif font. A couple more decreasingly tall stripes in yellow, green, blue, and purple, and then we get the main image which is a mystical looking zoom-blurred photo of a sphinx in front of a digital graphic of some mountains, a deep red sun (or moon?), and a starry sky. There is a strip of multicolor heiroglyphics just below the mountains, as well. Below the main image is some more stripes that are actually trapezoids decreasing in height and width in red, orange, yellow, and green.
I played the game "Riddle Of The Sphinx" on the Atari 2600 and thought it was ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ข๐ (โญโญโญโญ).

The cover for the double 7" collection Blood, Guts, & Penis by 10:07, which I thought was pretty good. It is a hand drawn image printed in a green/blue/purple/red gradient from right to left. The image is of a sausage on a platter cut in half and steaming. The band name is at the top in a large square font with serifs and a squiggly outline. The record title is in the middle in a hand drawn sans serif all caps font between wisps of steam. At the bottom it reads "limited edition double 7 inch!" in a slightly more neurotic version of the hand drawn font for the title. Once, I saw a copy of this signed in blood, but this is not that copy.

The banner from the arcade game Donkey Kong, which I thought was fine. On the left of the banner is Donkey Kong himself, a brown gorilla if you didn't know, running and flailing his arms. Just over his shoulder is a literally white-skinned woman with blond hair wearing a red top. She is in a circle kind of like peeking out of a hole and reaching a spindly arm to the right. On the far right is a crudely drawn Mario with hairy arms and chest wearing only red overalls, brown shoes, and his signature red hat. Just above him he seems to be dodging two barrels falling from the sky. The game name is at an angle in the middle of a white stripe in a circusy hand drawn very bold font with white and black outlines and stars in the middle of the O's. Bordering the white stripe are alternating stripes of orange and red that fill the rest of the banner except for a plain Nintendo logo just below the highest part of the game name.

The cover for the No Worse For The Wear single by Big Drill Car, which I thought was not great. It is a blue/brown/black image of an upside down broken guitar, with the head lying next to the body and the neck at a strange angle. Strings are tangled up in the mess and it appears to be on a wood floor of some kind, maybe a stage. At the top is a white banner with the band name on the left in tall all caps red sans serif font. The song titles are in the same font but about 25% as tall on the right and the two label logos appear above that in the top right corner. Pretty straightforward and classic.

The record cover for the self-titled Cheap Tragedies 7", which I thought was not great. It is a black and white cover of a close up of pinball machine's playing field. Near the bottom are the two flippers and between them are slightly off centered concentric circles in alternating black and white signifying a hole. The bottom corners have a bunch of angled white lines on black kind of like comets. on either side of the flippers are two small scenes of rooftops in a town. The band name is just above the two flippers with Cheap in all caps white on black wooden blocks with an extra planet block and Tragedies in handwritten all caps scrawl. Above the band name is a strange door or cabinet with many rectangular holes. Either side of that are two pinball bumpers with humanoid space-suited folks on them. A cloud of more comets shoots upwards and a rocket is in the top right and maybe a brick wall is in the top left. Lots going on!

Promo image for the game Lego Horizon Adventures, which I thought was fine. There's really a lot crammed in this image and all of it is made of digital representations of lego pieces. Trees, tall grass, desert, mountains, and rock outcroppings all appear around the edges or in the background. In the far background is a Thunderjaw which is a large robot dinosaur kind of like a T-Rex with a long articulated neck and weapons mounted to the sides. It is shooting downwards at two of the heroes being chased by a Watcher. A Watcher is a little robot dinosaur kind of like a T-Rex with one glowing eye and no weapons. The two heroes are Aloy and Varl. Varl is on the right and has dark lego skin, a short haircut, cool blue "tribal" makeup over one eye, a cape, and is holding a spear as if to throw it. Aloy is in the middle and has pale lego skin, long red braided hair, a glowing blue round lego on the side of her head, and has just fired an arrow from her bow which is flying through the sky. The title of the game appears at the top with the lego logo, Horizon in a sort of futuristic but hand-painted at the same time all caps sans serif font with extra lines connecting letters, and Adventures in an negative space font with thick white outline and slightly chaotic straight line only all caps letters.

A promo image for the game Saints Row, which I thought was fine. The background is a clear blue sky and the top edges of buildings in the bottom corners of the image like you're standing in the middle of the street looking up. The buildings are in sort of 50's Las Vegas style with lots of neon. On the left is the Santo Aleso Hotel, and a bowling alley with parking, on the right appears to be a motel/cafe named Lou's. In the middle of the image, a medium dark skinned person with short hair and shaved sides sits atop a pillar with a round animatronic smoking cowboy head on it. They are holding a large gun and a coffee cup and wearing black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. The animatronic cowboy head has a moustache and some graffiti on the side. Behind the person is the game title in a white tall bold sans serif font that looks like mountains on the horizon are blocking the bottom edge and the saints part is underlined while the row part has a line on top. (Overlined? Is that a thing?)

At the top is the game title in all caps slightly wobbly sans serif font in a dark blue. The K has a little band around the middle and the D is like half of a wheel of a bicycle. Below the title two youths stand making faces, one behind the other. The farthest back youth has curly red hair and pale skin, is wearing a hair covering of some kind, and is making a smiley/growly face while bending sideways at a fun angle. The front kid has black hair and dark skin, is holding a thin sword or lance and wearing a t-shirt that says "Fighting Knights and Riding Bikes", and is making a depressed/unimpressed face. A screenshot of a desktop image on a very old mac operating system that includes an icon for the game Battle Mac, which I thought was not great. The image is in black and white and at the top is the mac menu bar in classic Chicago font and the options (apple menu), File, Edit, View, and Special appear at the top and that is it. On the right side of the desktop are three icons, a floppy disk that reads System Tools, below that a greyed out square that reads Battle Mac and in the bottom corner a trash can labeled Trash. The cursor hovers over the trash and one mac Finder window is open with the title Battle Mac at the top. Two icons are in the folder window, a file folder icon with Desktop Folder under it, and a square with a drop shadow that has a side view of a boat with a person driving it and below that a crosshair in a circle and under the square it reads Battle Mac. The record cover for the split 7" by 22 Jacks / Clowns For Progress, which I thought was not great. This is the CFP side and is a parody of the KISS record Rock And Roll Over, with a red saw blade style circle in the middle with the band name around the circumference in a Star Trek italic font and the track name at the corners outside the saw in a blue all caps bold sans serif font with lightning bolts hanging down like icicles below it. There's an orange border around the whole thing and the background behind the circle is black. In the center of the saw is a large round circle in grey with four white faces decked out in varying clown makeups with their chins at the center. One has blond flat top spiky hair and a sort of halo of railroad tracks, one has a red flat top and blue lightning bolts behind it, another has rounded blond spiky hair with a green spiral and two steel nuts behind it, and the other has black flat top spiky hair and a few hearts around it.

There are five white bearded dudes and one pale blonde lady in the group. There's also a black chair on the right side near just a hint of a window. A promo image for the game Biomutant, which I thought was not great. It is digital art of an anthropomorphic animal soldier in a jungle setting under a partly cloudy blue sky. At the top, in the sky, is the game title in a futuristic bold all caps white angular font and some of the letters have little gaps in them. The background is pretty realistic blue sky with a faint moon and a bunch of clouds and then a jungle scene with short, large-leaf plants strewn about. The raccoon-like soldier guy has tall ears, very thin arms, and a massive sword. Its right hand is turning into a plant where it holds the sword and its left is holding a gun low by its waist so that it extends off the bottom of the image. The box cover for the game Basic Math, which I thought was not great. It is VERY 70's in appearance with a blue background and yellow font above the main image. The game title and "Game Program" appear at the top in retro spacey sans serif all caps font with "8 video games" and "table problems, random problems" in two columns below that and smaller font. At the very bottom in white tiny font is "A Warner Communications Company" and the Warner logo. The main image is of two school children dressed in all green, the one on the left female presenting in a long dress and kind of looking like an elf and the one on the right male presenting and wearing a kind of military top and bell bottoms. Both are ecstatic to be there and a rainbow bridges the gap between them. On their outfits, are two basic math problems 3/3=1 and 21x36=756 written in the American format. The left kid is admiring what appears to be a dove flying overhead and the right kid is catching a butterfly in a net. The bird has 4x44 on it, the butterfly has the basic operations and the net has 8+6=14. In between them in a bronze bordered square are the four basic operations again and below that there is a three headed dragon, a frog with many fingers, and a seated child with long hair and green pajamas with a ten-fingered hand. Below that, are two very toothy whales maybe vomiting the ocean or drinking it and the ocean has three Koi-like fish and the problem 92-50=42. The record cover for the self-titled Recreational Drugs album, which I thought was fine. The main image is a sort of collage of a fine art drawing/painting and technical drawing on a white background and the band/record name at the top in small all caps engineer handwriting in pencil. The artistic part appears to be an amphibious plane taking off from a tropical island in a mostly wispy cloudy sky, a light grey body of water, some low mountains in the background, and some palm trees on the right. The plane has four engines but the rotors are not visible and a boat fuselage with two stabilizing pontoons hanging down from the wing on top of the fuselage. On top of this, a cutout from an instructional book or pamphlet has been pasted just below the horizon line in the bottom third of the image. There are seven male-presenting people in the band and I don't know who is who, so from left to right, there's a light-skinned person with shaggy hair and a moderately sparse beard, behind him is a dark-skinned person with long braid and a Rasta hat, to their right is a person wearing a suit and sunglasses with a thick beard and afro, seated at the table is a pale skinned person with short hair and thin glasses, behind him a person with medium long hair tucked behind their ears, to their right a tall person with large glasses and dark clothing, and also seated at the table another pale person with a long face and kind of a Tony Hawk haircut. The title of the game is just over the desert scene in sand-like all caps subtle serif thin font with a drop shadow. A tall tower with a light on it is in the far background and the clouds in the sky are swirling around that tower. It is a classic Star Wars image with the left side being a dark side image in reddish brown of the battle of Geonosis and the right side being a light side image in bluish white of the battle of Hoth. In the middle is a triangle of lego versions of Star Wars characters just like in the move posters. In this case, Rey is leading the bottom row with a yellow lightsaber flanked by Finn and BB-8 on the left and Chewbacca and Kylo Ren on the right. Just above them, a larger Jedi Luke Skywalker is in black and making a grimacing face while holding his green lightsaber. Above Luke is an even larger Darth Vader doing the force choke pose and holding his red lightsaber at his side. Above all of this The Lego logo appears next to the Star Wars logo and below that, in the same font as the start of The Force Awakens, it reads "The Skywalker Saga." To the right of the game title is a lego Death star with a number of tie fighters streaming out of it towards a swooping Millennium Falcon.
