a promotional map from AMREP when they originally developed Rio Rancho in the 1960's for the AMREP land scam. People went to jail for the scam, but AMREP is still they large landowner in Rio Rancho. The map shows Rio Rancho Estates in a Midwestern city type rectangular layout. The left out all the arroyos. They have Jemez Canyon Lake full of water, with images of motor boats elsewhere on the map. They show the Rio Grande full of water. It's just a bogus promotional map. At the top of the map is a banner 'enjoy summer and winter sports' with swimming, all season fishing , boating, riding, skiing, year round golf, and hunting as available hobbies. In the place where Santa Ana Pueblo is, the map shows an open space with the text 'large park school and church areas reserved'. The Coronado State park and museum is also shown in that area.
