At best an historical curiosity. Barker curates a book of so-called ‘saucy’ illustrations, alongside suggestive verse and black-and-white soft-core pornography dating mostly from the early 20th century. Much of this must have felt a bit off even at the date of publication. #RonnieBarker #Sauce

Ronnie Barker was born on 25 Sept 1929. He was known for roles in British comedy TV series such as The Frost Report, The Two Ronnies, Porridge, & Open All Hours. Porridge was always one of my favourite sitcoms from the 70s. Ronnie was undoubtedly a genius. He died, aged 76, in 2005. #RonnieBarker
