Rue has always called Alhya Kitten. It started out as a way to annoy them and because Alhya is a Miqo'te. But over time, they began to like it and see it as a term of endearment.
As of yet, Alhya does not have any pet names for Rue. Idk how Rue would respond to a pet name.

A character sheet titled "Weirdo Alert" It has various information about Rue Lastname, with a key for "what they think they're like" and "what they're actually like" It asks what their deal is, with Rue's deal being "Private investigator, crime guy, and otherwise mysterious lil shit who does what they want." There's a series of scales including "Normal to Weird," "Serious to Funny," "Charismatic to Annoying," "Open-Minded to Close-Minded," "Comforting to Scary," "Smart to Stupid," "Main Character to NPC," and "Hydrogen Bomb to Coughing Baby." On these scales, Rue is only fairly close in what they think they're like vs what they're actually like on the Serious to Funny and Smart to Stupid scale. All the others, they're a good distance away, with the Normal to Weird being the widest gulf. There's also a "Why are they like this?" set of checkboxes with Rue checking off "raised this way," "The Incident TM," "The Person TM," and "your guess is as good as mine." There's also a "Will they every change?" set of checkboxes with "Eventually" checked. There's also a Current Goal of "Deal with their aimlessness and general lack of sense of purpose." Beneath it are two intersecting axis. The first has "easy" and "impossible" on the Y and "bad idea" and "good idea" on the X. Rue thinks they're close to good idea and the middle between easy and impossible, while what they're actually like is closer to impossible. The other graph has "life's mission" and "third one today" on the Y and "barely trying" and "working hard" on the X. Rue used to be a noble in Garlemald. Unfortunately, said titles mean nothing in Ishgard. So they've learned to make themself as useful as possible to nobility, to earn some amount of wealth and power. Often through diplomatic means (sucking up) or with their specific skillset.

Carrion crows are Rue-coded, though Ravens also work. Crows are often solitary, harass predators/competitors, and are quite intelligent. They're also scavenger birds and while Rue isn't scavenging food, they certainly feed off of the scraps of others.

I think it's the current height dif of Rue being 6'5" and Alhya being 4'11". If Rue has had partners who have been shorter than Alhya, I genuinely do not remember. But two and a half feet is still quite significant. :3

I think the most obvious answer for Rue is their proclaimed pure selfishness/narcissism in comparison to the lengths they'll go for the few people they do care about. They can frame it as a selfish act, but Rue will go above and beyond for Alhya and bends for them more than anyone else.

There's a decent amount Rue will do for gil if they believe they won't get caught. Rue won't sell their own body or transport/sell other people. But they will take a life, kidnap someone, and would certainly sneak someone out for gil. Bonus points for gaining dirt on said Lord..

Since their inception, Rue has gone gray, gotten some wrinkles, and quite a few scars. Probably most noticeably was having their breasts removed, which was part of a trend of them presenting slowly more and more masc, in dress and their body. They also bulked up a smidge along the way.

Most people don't make it past the 'one night stand stranger' phase with Rue. A majority of them, Rue doesn't even end up seeing or talking to again. Occasionally, someone will get some repeat performances.. and in the case of Alhya and Xembre, it eventually turned into relationships.

Honestly being just a little bit pathetic. Huntable/chaseable to some extent. A challenge? Both in the sense of not being easy to get but also willing to challenge Rue to some extent. Anyone who is some kind of a puzzle.

Rue pretty well knows Alhya's kinks thoroughly, though there's a couple they're not fully aware of.
Meanwhile Rue knows very few of Xembre's kinks. That man is even more closed off than Alhya and Rue and he don't have sex often enough to fully explore things.

I think Rue has done a little of both, though it usually starts as an actual threat. They've done more knife play with Alhya just because the cat likes pain. But otherwise, it doesn't come up often with Rue because they've done less dubcon as of late. (Where they feel it's appropriate.)

Loyalty, but the blind, unquestioning type. Someone who is willing to not question Rue. I think more recently Rue is starting to also value people they can be more themself around, who won't try and use it against them. People they could depend on to watch their back. It allows for 1/2

Rue (non-WoL) tends to work with both nobility and some of the.. less savory types. They try to strike a balance in wardrobe choices for both, and when the Bouncer set came out, I knew this fit perfectly. It's still stylish and formal, but also very efficient at the same time!
