A pacific treefrog is surprised after it's pot cover was removed. It had been feasting on slugs & other pests while hiding out in a vole hole.
A large long-toed salamander under a tarp had plenty of worms to eat. There were at least 5 salamanders under there - the night guard pest watch ground division.
Both Frog Friday & Salamander Saturday are on this week.

The Coastal Giant Salamander (Dicamptodon tenebrosus) is one of the largest salamanders in the US. Its capable of reaching up to 13 inches long. They are found in the Pacific Northwest.
