I shocked a few people last night at #Wexford #ScienceCafe with my overview of the socio-technological impacts of GenAI FOMO and how it will hit organisations and societies in about 3-7 years approximately if we don’t figure some things out ASAP.

Citizen Science Cafe: Passie in de nestkast. Op 11 maart organiseert het Nederlands Instituut voor Ecologie (NIOO-KNAW) de tweede editie van het Citizen Science Café. Love is in the air in deze tijd van het jaar. Bij onze gevleugelde vrienden gebeurt er in maart van alles en dus duiken we graag met jullie de nestkast in! Maar.... niet alleen vogels zitten vol met passie: onderzoekers en burgerwetenschappers kunnen er ook wat van! Hun nieuwsgierigheid, enthousiasme en liefde voor de wetenschap zorgen ervoor dat we steeds meer weten over het gedrag van vogels en het effect van bijvoorbeeld klimaatverandering.
