Beds of Sea kale (Crambe maritima) a hardy perennial vegetable with a history as a coastal delicacy, growing on Hurst Spit by Milford on Sea in Hampshire UK. Beautiful delicate flowers apparently liked by bees, although the only insects we encountered were beach flies.
A #coastal #noodlebowl for dinner. I collected x7 different types of #seaweed #southmiltonsands which I have dried. This dish had fresh #serratedwrack & #Vertebratalanosa aka #truffleseaweed plus #seabeet & #seakale, plus #wildgarlic Couldn’t get much more local. #coastalforaging
