#OnThisDay 1910 Rhymney Railway porter Arthur Jones, who was under 18, was injured at #Senghenydd, #Glamorgan, #Wales.

His foot was bruised when unloading luggage from a brake van, when the doors of the van closed on it.

He was off work for 3 days.

#OnThisDay 1912 Rhymney Railway fireman James Civil was injured at #Senghenydd, #Glamorgan, #Wales.

He was in an ash pit, clearing the fire from a steam loco ashpan.

A piece of hot cinder fell from the ashpan into his coat pocket, setting his clothes on fire.
