#AndromedaGalaxy - 2029 10s, 20s and 30s subs, hours in #Siril, edited in #SetiAstro, touched up in Lightroom.

Finally got some resolution on the dust lanes. I'll have to find a lower Bortle area and set it up for better resolution. Don't think the lower exposure times are helping at this point.

Not sure that the #JellyfishNebula actually looks like a jellyfish, but it's amazing all the same. If you look closely there is a layer of blue from the Oxygen over the Red from the Hydrogen. #Astrophotography #LAAS #Astro #Nebula #ZWO #Astrophoto #Pixinsight #SetiAstro

For this image I'm using a 150mm F/5 Newtonian, an ASI533MC camera, carried by an Orion Atlas EQ-G mount. I used an Optolong L-Ultimate 2" dual-band filter.
I stacked and processed using #Siril along with #Graxpert, #SetiAstro #CosmicClarity and #Gimp.

Delighted by the performance of new “free” software #cosmicclarity #setiastro. As an expt while i take a break from observing i reprocessed an image i took last year of #caldwell30 galaxy group with only 40mins exposure time. It has made a significant difference in sharpness 🤩 #astrophotography

Really enjoying putting recent images through new free toolset from #SetiAstro called #CosmicClarity- a poorman's version of #BlurXterminator - it sharpens stars a treat! A great addition to @SiriL_Official augmentation workflow but needs a bit of careful handling #astrophotography
