Aster Tower, Portland, Oregon, 60mm, low light, shot from NE 7th Ave. on 2025/03/31: A dark brown and tan building, partially illuminated by lights from residents, against a dark light-blue sky filled with clouds. Other buildings and tree braches and blossoms are scattered about the foreground, but something aboit the way the light hits the west side of the building makes it radiant in an otherwise muted cityscape.

Other buildings and tree braches and blossoms occupy the foreground, blocking out the lower half of the picture, but something about the way the light hits the south side of the building and the long rectangles that frame multiple windows on different floors and multiple windows on the same floor combined with the tipped over and reversed L-shape as the building appears to emerge from behind the others is just captivating.
