The first train to run through will be the 09:00 Ramsgate to St Pancras but this may be delayed near #Wye as there is a further tree there which should be cleared by 09:15.

⚠️Another tree has been reported on the line between Ashford and #Wye. Whilst staff attend to investigate the 07:37 St Pancras to Margate will be diverted to run via Dover.

#OTD 1941 Just after 7pm, #Sturry village centre was destroyed by a parachute mine.
Houses, shops, a chapel and a pub were destroyed, leaving 15 people dead (including 4 children) and many more injured. Another parachute mine landed harmlessly in a nearby allotment.
