The Mini Matra: Coffee Run A year has passed since the Akademiya was reclaimed by the Dendro Archon. Cyno has claimed the second Ba Fragment from Sethos, and the Matra is back in order under his command. Now is a new year, and with that brings new Matra to train... (We see someone holding a paper that seems to read coffee orders, but we can't tell what ones as it's mostly cut off. The paper has the akademiya logo on it.) Siham: "I can't believe it's our first day, and we're..." "We're buying everyone coffee." (Two people stand here in matra uniforms. One is a darker skinned girl pouting, and one is a boy with ears and a tail looking over to the girl. He has vitiligo, so his skin has light and dark patches) Riki: "Could be worse. We could be cleaning up Sumpert Beast dung." Siham: "At least that is work." Riki: "Faster, we get this done, the faster we get to training." Siham: "Fine" Riki: "good... Thank you. Bye." (We see Riki's tail leaving off screen and a woman at a counter who is cleaning the counter. She has an aperon on and a cash register by her side. A large bag of mora was left for her by the young matra) Shopkeeper: "Goodbye." (She waits for them to leave before continuing) "... Oh boy, he is going to work them like dogs..."

(Here we see the girl Siham looking over the order list. Behind her is a matra walking off drinking coffee) Siham: "Why in Al-Ahmar's name would you put drinks down and not names with the drinks?" Riki: "He likely wants us to figure it out. We are Matra now, and our duty involves investigating..." (We see Riki with his fox ear swiviling to hear her as he hands a matra a coffee waying "Here you go" to them as they say "thanks." Behind him are two matra chatting.) Siham: "Good point." (We now see the third of the trio who originally held the paper. He has short hair with a brade on the sade and glasses. His skin is much fairer than the other two. He is holding a tray with twoo drinks on it.) Niko: "We just have two left." Siham: "Which one's?" Niko: "The two really complicated ones." Siham: "Figures the important people would have the complex ones... Let me see." (We now see a zoom in on the two drinks. One is hot and one is cold. The cold one is labeled "Iced caramel latte with extra cream, sugar, caramel, and chocolate," and the other is labled "Sumaru black with three shots of espresso) Siham: "Oh, this will be easy. This one is the general's, and that has to be the Scribe's." (We now see the trio standing together. Siham is pointing to the coffees while Niko looks uncertain and Riki looks slighyl annoyed) Riki: "How can you be so sure?" Siham: "Do you really rhink the General would drink that? It's practically cake in a cup." Niko: "... Maybe we should ask?" Siham: "Nah, he would want us to prove ourselves and show we know him. Besides, you said we are supposed to investigate things." Riki: *sighs* "whatever you say..."

The outfit for field work is based on Taj from Genshin impact. An NPC who was a matra and worked with Cyno but later died. Each person behind Cyno is distinct. Two boys and one girl. The boy in front has glasses and red hair, while the one in the middle is really tall with bright green fox ears and tail. He also has Vitiligo, and so he has patches on his skin that are lighter than others. The girl in the back is a darker brown skin with black hair and a few scars on her like she has seen battle before.

With my new drawing tablet, I have plans. One of them is to make a Genshin Comic inspired by chats with @maheylis.bsky.social

I'll make a hashtag for it based on the title. I'm calling it "The Mini Matra". Character art and info soon.
