fausty's review of The Murder of Roger Ackroyd (Hercule Poirot, #4) 4/5: wow! it took s couple of books but i finally got it - this book ruled hard! i love that it's a hard pivot from the earlier entries that felt ever so light-hearted (despite the murders!) by implementing a twist that not only changed the entire game, but also was so satisfying to finally get explained. all the pieces were there, just one missing link that you feasibly can guess to solve the entire thing. while it still has some of the pitfalls of early 20th century literature (i will always cringe whenever someone suggests extremely gendered ideology!), this book has finally got me thinking t...
