The Remains, quite possibly the inspiration for the film, that thing you do. Their stellar rise from popular local group to next big thing to hanging it up for good is legendary. And they were fantastic. I mean, who gets a chance to play Ed Sullivan, then ignores their current single and plays a garage freakout with improve and go go dancers?!?!? For real, just fucking amazing. Look it up on you tube - it’s epic.
