On the headland of The Rumps there is a Bronze Age burial mound, often called a barrow, The mound dates to roughly 2000–1500 BC.
The South West Coast Path is one of the most spectacular hiking routes in Europe, but the cliffs — especially around places like The Rumps — can be genuinely dangerous if you’re not paying attention.
