#TheVampiresGhost (1945) is such an interesting relic of the genre. A very loose adaptation of Polidori's #TheVampyre (there are no ghosts), but transposed to a fictional African country.
It dips into some of the exoticism you might expect, but adds interesting elements – like the drum talk!
For any opera fans out there, Marschner's score to Der Vampyr still seriously slaps nearly two centuries later. (Great moody music to work to.)

Today's #retrogaming on the #Commodore64 #C64 #Nosferatu #TheVampyre. Despite its isometric appearance, it's easy to get around in this game. I forgot about the plot and just explored and got rather carried away. Luckily the music can be switched off before it drives you nuts!
