View of the monthly pill organizer from above, and a shot of my hand using chopsticks to fetch a white capsule from a square that already had one in it, to move to the empty square next door. The lid provides a handy sorting tray for more pills.

A tip for those who rely on a big monthly pill organizer: use chopsticks to retrieve pills that mistakenly fall into the wrong square. Tweezers might work, too.

I was more delighted by this strategy than the Cheetos-chopstick practice my coworkers teased me abt in 2014. 😅

A photo of a partial page of my planner, decorated/organized with stickers and washi tape. It is centered on June 25, 26, and 27, and shows color coded stickers/icons for 7 different medical appointments spanning those three days. Without over explaining, only my daughter does NOT have any appointment this week. There are two stickers that say "Regents", a pink circle sticker that says "Mom So Hard" in gold text, and another sticker that says "Carpe FUCKING Diem" as well as some decorative glitter stickers of stars.

Holy AuDHD tax! In my defense, my father survived a stroke, I'm fighting illegal eviction (mgmt co. is used to w/people who don't know their rights), finishing an incomplete for (ironically) my spring♿class. Avg of 5👩‍⚕️🏥👨‍⚕️appts/wk for 6 family members (4 w/chronic dxs).🙃 #ThingsDisabledPeopleKnow

Fortuitous timing. I attended today's @sfdcc.bsky.social event featuring Yu, moderated by Haben Girma. Having been active in #DisabilityJustice spaces for years now, I wondered why I'd never heard of Yu before. Now I know. Thank you, @lizjackson.bsky.social.
