Also, is it #DoctoRWho canon now that the #TimelessChild is how Gallifreyans developed the power of regeneration; meanwhile, Omega, Rassilon, and perhaps the Doctor (remembering back to Remembrance of the Daleks) are the ones who turned them into Time Lords?

I realize it's an unpopular take, but I feel like the Timeless Child arc of Doctor Who didn't demystify the Doctor, but in fact RE-mystified them. They're once again the total mystery that they were pre-War Games. #DoctorWho #TimelessChild

Here's my reasoning on this one, since I know countless HATE this idea.

To me, the #TimelessChild theory reinvents the Doctor's story and makes them exciting again.

I was worried about Russell T Davies coming back to #DoctorWho - just the whole running the show into the ground thing ala John Nathan-Turner - but RTD has created some exciting things!

I'm really glad he's not abandoning the #TimelessChild idea - I thought that was one of Chibnall's better moves.

The entire episode becomes little more than brainless slapstick, which we're expected to take seriously because it's the #TimelessChild and he's the hero, so we must root for him to win even though he's never in any danger of losing. See now why this writing is awful?

It's not. Wanna see real "wokeness"? Real representation? Go watch #TheOrville. Go watch the original #StarTrek and #StarTrekTheNextGeneration (not the fake iteration produced by thief #AlexKurtzman). Those shows are woke. This mindbogglingly stupid #TimelessChild show isn't.

I broke down and watched the #TimelessChild #ChristmasSpecial. It was as bad as I figured it would be. I had flashbacks to the #Chibnall era: villains/monsters that were barely present in the story, and when they were, the #DisneyVillain musical number rendered them non-threatening.

Before anybody starts, I don't give a 💩 about the presence of #Trans people in the episodes or that the #TimelessChild is now played by a #Queer Black man. As long as the characters are well written and performed, who cares? Davies does tend to do well in this area, unlike Moffat and Chibnall.
