I thought it was dead or close to it, but the roots are very happy! So I put it in a bigger pot.
Hopefully it will finally sprout new happy leaves.

On my way back to the car after work, I liberated a tiny oak tree from a flower bed on campus that certainly would have been pulled and thrown out, the next time the grounds people did that area.
(It still had its acorn!)
