The Fault. A jagged canyon rips through the earth, its walls sheer and unnaturally smooth. There is no erosion, no tool marks—just a massive cleave, as if something split the land in a single stroke. The valley hums with an almost imperceptible vibration, felt more in the bones than in the ears. At night, lights flicker far below, like fireflies trapped in the wound of the world. The deeper one ventures, the more the Fault resists—gravity shifts, air thins, and the landscape subtly changes. The planet does not want this rift explored. (Then pictured is someone descending into the canyon, reaching out towards one of the walls, and the wall vibrating with ripples responding to the touch)
