finished the base of the character (inspired by the HBR in 40k) and I gotta say I'm looking forward to adding the pic to one of the rule books, I'll likely make some changes but over all I jive with the l look :D
also coming up with synthetic muscle patterns is remarkably satisfying

so there I was, at like 5am tinker'n with saturation and contrast filters (as one does) and then i get the brilliant life changing epiphany of . . . "what if do, but on last pic" and i gotta say more saturation in this style ain't bad on the eyes, if I do say so myself that is :D

well it took way longer than I'd hoped (little less than 5 days) but the first unit pic for the first faction rule book be done! I can't believe it didn't occur to me sooner to emulate ye'old TTWG/TTRPG art styles, it's remarkably satisfying seeing how close you can get it to og pics :D

A Firestarter painted red and gray and a Javelin painted blie and gray
Next two machines are on the table and base coated.
This is a Firestarter and Javelin. They're not the fastest or strongest light 'mechs, but I have a bias toward them since they're both battlemechs that made it into the roster of the HBS PC game.
