From last year‘s spring garden, a lovely species tulip, Tulipa tarda. It was first cultivated commercially in 1590. The flowers open to a star shape during sunny days, each petal is a clear lemon-yellow with a with pure white tips.
Right now, bulbs and buds are nestled under a foot of snow, but the sky is blue today the snow is melting… spring is on its way…🌱
