WhatsApp’s “Clear Chat?” dialog is too generic. Why not show the chat name right there?
👉 “Clear chat with <Group Name>?”
That way, users know exactly which conversation they’re wiping—less confusion, fewer accidental clears, more confidence.

Bad UX to improve DX: Women giving birth lying down was standardized for doctors' comfort. We do this in software daily out of habit. We need a paradigm shift. Adapt to the user, not the code. #UX #TechEthics

You can have people play on PC's with controllers to test aspects of the console experience, particularly controls (assuming that your aim assist, etc is the same)
But remember that console players typically play on bigger screens & further away than sitting right in front of a PC

Accessibility isn't a checkbox. It's civil rights in code. Beth DeConinck's article is essential reading for anyone who builds for the web.

Thanks, MS Teams. I love not knowing WHAT went wrong, but just hoping that maybe some indeterminate "later" will fix the issue.

A 102-year-old teaching #Windows is the ultimate reality check for #UX designers. Age isn't the barrier; over-engineering is. We need technology that respects fundamentals and utility over hype. If it works, don't break it with useless abstractions. #Tech #Accessibility
