Okinawan question. I've seen both っんーめー(ぅんーめー) and っんめー(ぅんめー) recorded for "grandmother" in different reference works. Is this just a regional difference? Or is the initial syllable actually long? #okinawanlanguage #uchinaaguchi #okinawan
