This year‘s #UKDNAWG meeting in #Sheffield was an absolute whirlwind of updates and productive discussions. Thank you so much @ukdnawg.bsky.social for having me and your enthusiasm for #eDNAEurope! 🤩
My third #UKDNAWG conference, but my first repping the Environment Agency Chief Scientist Group DNA team! Lovely to see colleagues in 3D and hear about all the fantastic ongoing eDNA work. Also very much enjoying being back in my undergraduate home, Sheffield! 🧬

2/3 The UK DNA Working Group #ukdnawg was launched in 2014 to facilitate dialogue and collaboration in the use of #eDNA for environmental monitoring by providing a forum for government agencies, researchers and other stakeholders to discuss priorities and emerging developments.
Timely and important paper on guidelines for workflows and reporting of #eDNA #metabarcoding data. Hugely relevant to ongoing discussions within #ukeof #ukdnawg about standards and data mobilisation @lynseyrharper.bsky.social @danread.bsky.social
