Old news of the mayor and the pastor’s wife is making its way around town, again. The dogs and the cats are organizing their annual parade celebrating Litter-box and Leash Liberation Day. Swallows and sparrows are fighting in the streets. Soon, it will surely spill over into the trees. I’m certain the trees will not be happy about this. You can already hear the murmuring among them. They are so messy. All they do is stand around, watching, whispering, and judging us. The trees act like we are a bunch of spoiled-rotten toddlers at a daycare—running around screaming, crying, and throwing tantrums. WE ARE NOT TODDLERS! We’re grown-ass adults with shit to do! Just stop being so righteous… trees.
