Update! So, I decided to settle on making 4 presents, with one of them being pretty unique because the person didn't ask for anything at all (they just wanted to write).

Beware the #USPSOperationSanta #scam run by @USPS / @USPSHelp . For 3 families/8 people, USPS gouged us for $785 to ship 5 packages - the USPS’s *own charitable program*! That $ instead could’ve supported *additional* families/put to many other good charitable uses. #DoBetter .
