-The offensive standout this week has been Tommy Goodin. The redshirt freshman is absolutely obliterating baseballs, I'm talking 100+ exit velo whenever he puts a ball in play. One to watch.

I wasn’t there the whole time and there was a lot of situational stuff going on, but a few tidbits from today’s #VandyBoys scrimmage…

The offensive standout was Tommy Goodin. He hit three different balls over 100 mph including a home run.

Hudson Barton was sitting 94-96 with his fastball.

With Yaz gone, they need to add one or more #VandyBoys if I’m gonna wear that orange out in public. It ain’t even that orange that you can sit with.

Some notes on today's #VandyBoys scrimmage:

-Pitchers who pitched: Austin Nye, Connor Fennell, Nate Taylor, Wyatt Nadeau, Jakob Schulz, Jacob Faulkner.
-Nye and Fennell both looked great, especially Nye who struck out 5 of 6 batters he faced (all swinging) and generated 10 whiffs on 30 pitches

A few scrimmage notes for the #VandyBoys:

-Braden Holcomb played CF and 3B today. Both are positions he's never played in a game at Vanderbilt (though he has in scrimmages and on the Cape)
-Brodie Johnston + Ryker Waite were both working at SS. Brodie made a really great play in the hole
