Time to try the Bimber Santa’s Edition 2025. 57.3% ABV and finished in a PX cask. Black Forest gateaux, roasted plums and toffee. A drop of water pares back the sweetness and brings out caramel and a ginger spice.

Having another @bimberdistillery.bsky.social dram tonight. This time it's the Halloween release- The Witch. Peated and 57.3%. this has strawberry and smoke on the nose, and on the palate it is sweet with a woody spiciness, red licorice, and soft autamn bonfire smoke 🔥🍁 #WeAreBimber
Nice little surprise through the door today from @bimberdistillery.bsky.social. Starting with the Christmas Santa edition. At 57.3% is packing quite a punch, with traditional PX flavour- plenty of raisins and icing sugar on the nose. More of the same on the palate with chocolate&coffee #WeAreBimber
Overall - Another great dram from @bimberdistillery.bsky.social imho. That's 22 of their whiskies I've now tried, and 22 I've thoroughly enjoyed, and if ex PX sherry/Sherry cask drams are your thing, this is definitely one to try. #WeAreBimber
🏁 - The finish is quite long, and spicy all the way to the end. It does develop into high cocoa count dark chocolate, currants, espresso and black pepper. @bimberdistillery.bsky.social #WeAreBimber
👅 - A nice thick mouthfeel, and plenty of spices, similar to the nose initially. It actually anaesthetises parts of my tongue and lips. It's rather rich flavour wise, and nicely rounded. Ex PX sherry cask lovers will enjoy this. @bimberdistillery.bsky.social #WeAreBimber
👃 - We have another big nose here. It comes across as spicy, with demerara sugar, Pontefract cakes, anise and cloves. Tiramisu, damp leaf litter, molasses/black treacle all come through, and nosing it with my mouth open, I can taste it in my mouth. @bimberdistillery.bsky.social #WeAreBimber

Overall - I have tasted a few @bimberdistillery.bsky.social drams now, and like the others, it doesn't disappoint. It's so flavourful, the spices really do hang around for a while. It's a lovely dram, and I'd like to hear from others who have tried this. #WeAreBimber
🏁 - Spicy, and quite long. That syrupy thickness is lovely. Black pepper and lots of stewed dark fruits continue, along with a sweetness, like caster sugar. #WeAreBimber
👅- Jeez that's bold, there's so much flavour here. The peat is easily found, along with loads of stewed dark fruits, cherry drops, black grapes, dandelion & burdock. It feels juicy, quite thick, like fruit syrup. #WeAreBimber
👃- First to arrive is the peat, it’s like sweet germoline. Strawberries and cherries, and dusty leather come next. Cherry Bakewell ice topping, stem ginger, and Sherry-soaked Christmas pudding, it's a big nose. #WeAreBimber
