I finished knitting #westknitsmkal2024 #gogodynamo way back in November, and then immediately left for Australia. Finally blocking now nearly 3 months later.
SHE’S BAAAAAAACK. This little beauty has been on time out. I finished her in November and was not happy with her shape but I just couldn’t deal with her then. I finally removed the last section so I can redo it. Feels good to be bringing her back to life. #westknitsmkal2024 #knitting #knitsky

A ball of stone-ishh very pale tan, or maybe grey yarn, and ball of marled red and very dark red yarn. Below them is a kinda semi-circular bit of knitting, with broad garter-ridge stripes of the blue & red yarn and stockinette stripes of the stone. In the background lurks a flock of crocheted bats.
This is my SiL's fault! She talked me into starting the Westknits MKAL. I shopped my personal stash for the red & navy yarn, and I shopped the store for the stone-ish colored Cascade Heritage. Successfully cast on and have started the first piece.
