Final experiment in cross cultural blending: 5g White2Tea Tale Chaser (roasted ripe puerh) and 2g Yunomi Naturalitea Superior Hojicha. Weird, I like the blends that are unevenly divided between the teas more than evenly divided blend.

Scarlet Floret from White2Tea is a Fujian black tea, and a pretty classic example of the style of black tea made in Fujian at that. High scent, like plum or cherry blossom, low astringency, little bitterness.

Great Blue Heron is pine smoked raw puerh, (semi-aged maocha blend). Interestingly, I get more character of the base tea and less pure smoke from the smoked raw puerh than I did from Camphire (ripe puerh) yesterday.

I pulled out the glass thermos to give these twigs plenty of space. What a delightful cuppa. Bright, fresh mouthfeel and a wonderfully subtle taste. From #white2tea 's August tea club. The wee bundles were super cute and really helped for handling.
