It's not that hot unless you choose a spicy hot salsa to go on the side. The grilled Bolilo roll is kinda sweet but not Hawaiian King sweet. Margarita on the side? Nothing better! π΅π

A plump Hawk has a fine perch to survey it's realm on this fountain in a lovely Tucson garden.
A close up of a beautiful Hawk.
A large purple wind chime combines with the tinkle of water from a large fountain on which an adult Hawk perches.

A front porch in Tucson Arizona. A large blue flag has the words "HATE WILL NOT MAKE US GREAT" 2 mannequins are dressed in Western wear. A yard sign, with a group of multicultural children on it , is in front of the mannequins. It reads "This is our community. ICE is not welcome here."
We walk by this house almost every day.
I love how the occupants express their world view by how they dress the mannequins that reside on the #interior of their front porch.
I agree π―

This Tucson right-of-way is decorated with cacti plus a little tableau featuring a metal carriage and horse. A lady in a red dress (circa 1880) is drive the open carriage which is powered by a prancing white horse.
It rodeo weekend in #Tucson! π€ π

My favorite forecast!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the wintry-like weather we've had the past few or so. Overcast, cool, rainy! 80+ degrees is NOT normal for #Tucson in December. Folks who winter and/or visit the ποΈ need to do their research before whining. π
THIS is #WhyILoveWhereILive
A mural painted on a building near downtown Tucson Arizona. A cowboy, a seniorita, a javelina, a desert tortoise and a jackrabbit are riding bicycles through the desert.
In this mural, the ποΈ sky is painted in the girl's flowing black hair.
This is my absolute favorite of his many beautiful murals. We walk by it at least once a week! I especially love the sky displayed in the girls hair!

The route passed by the Pasqua Yaqui neighborhood where we had excellent Sonoran dogs from a street vendor.
Cyclovia Tucson gives riders and walkers the opportunity to explore Tucson neighborhoods free of cars for the day. We had a nice day walking the route. #WhyILoveWhereILive #CycloviaTucson @kennyuong.bsky.social for your collection. Talked at length with the transit folks.

So, we walked west to the historic neighborhood called Dunbar Spring. It was a relatively cool morning and there is always so much to see in this barrio. As we headed home, we came upon a group of plain air artists. Here is a link about them.
