Pink Musk Mallow plant with large petals. Below it is a Hairy Vetch in purples. Both are in an abundance of green leaves.
Crimson Clover. So bright and standing taller than the grasses around them. The flower is as the very top of the plant which is like a column. Lots of blurry green leaves. In the background is a large mature tree with sky beyond.
Just a few more lovely plants from my walk today.
Musk Mallow, Vetch and Crimson Clover amongst so many wild flowers in this enormous field.
The farmers around here in West Yorkshire I find particularly adept at wild meadows. Every walk is a delight.
