Winter cycling tip: Don’t forget when you make a brief stop at a coffee shop (or wherever) to unzip your layers to “cool off” a bit before going inside to start sweating in your base layers making going back outside feel colder.

Ah well. At least the #tinycouch is comfy. Besides, the cold #biketoworkKC will be here soon enough.

It’s that time of year for bicycle commuters, or just cold weather riders in general, to remember that cold temps affect the air pressure in your tires. I tend to over inflate them, or even better, set the bike outside for a bit then check their PSI before the commute starts.

Kinda stoked for this upcoming week or warmer temps. As much as I love my #45NRTH Wolvhammer boots it will be nice to switch back to the Ragnarök & Öland for daily wear. #wintercyclist www.45nrth.com/products/all...
Well just before the downhill it occurred to me that there is a possibility of snow today so maybe the #minicargobike isn’t the best choice. Guess we’ll see.

Not really a compliment, cause it’s winter after all, but it’s amusing to check to forecast and it’s says it’s “much warmer than yesterday” but today’s high is still just under freezing. #wintercyclist #biketoworkKC
Oh boy! Welp, made it home. Actually unzipped my jacket as I started of the final climb cause I worried about breaking a sweat

2/2 On the commute home that was the only section not cleared & rideable. Now as to why they couldn’t just push the snow down the path and then up and over to drop in the river while they had the equipment there to do so while they did clear the ramp up to there. 🤷♂️ #wintercyclist
Peter Nylund writes "Yeti Rides", I don't think he's on BlueSky but his blog is fabulous. #WinterCyclist
